Article's Submittion
The procedure will be open during the whole year.
The articles to be reviewed and published shall be sent in electronic form. They shall be submitted as a Word file and shall be accompanied by a letter by the author(s). The letter will state the following:
- Confirmation that the work has not been published in full or in part in another journal
- Συνοπτικό βιογραφικό σημείωμα του συγγραφέα. Σε περίπτωση συγγραφικής ομάδας συνοπτικά βιογραφικά σημειώματα κάθε μέλους της
- A brief curriculum vitae of the author. If written by a group of authors, short CVs for each member of the group The name, postal and electronic address and telephone number of the author responsible for the correspondence.
EETAA undertakes that after the reviewers complete their review, the authors will immediately receive a letter, via e-mail, informing them of its outcome.
Guidelines to the authors
The papers and articles submitted should not have been published before.
- The format must be Microsoft Word and papers should be 8,500 – 9,000 words in length (including notes and excluding references).
- The text should be written in Times New Roman 12 pt font with 1.5 line spacing.
- In form of a Microsoft Word document. The pages should be numbered in the lower right corner starting from the first page. Page margins should be 3.17 cm (right – left) and 2.54 cm (top and bottom).
Word or phrase abbreviations are permitted provided that they are listed in brackets next to the first time the corresponding words or phrases appear in the text. - First Page: Should include: 1) The title (same 14 pt font, in bold, with fully justified text alignment, in Greek and English), which must be as short and informative as possible (no more than 20 words). 2) The author’s full name (same 12 pt font, in bold, aligned to the right, in Greek and English).
The author’s affiliation should be indicated in the footer where the authors’ most important academic-professional titles should be listed. 3) The name, address (postal and electronic ) and contact telephone number of the author responsible for the correspondence related to the paper. Second Page: Should include the abstract (300- 400 words) and index words in Greek. The summary is followed by 3-10 words (terms or short phrases) of indexing, necessary for the compilation of the indexes of the magazine.
Third Page: Should include the abstract and words of indexing (key words) in English, - in an accurate, scientific translation of the Greek summary and indexing terms.
Following Pages: Should include the full text of paper - Final page: Should include bibliography.
- Footnotes are allowed only for quotes, comments, remarks, which are not functional in the main course of text or disrupt the flow of reading.
- The Harvard system is used to compile citations and bibliography (Full English Version by Sheffield University Library).
Bibliographic references should be included in the text stream.
References to “unpublished data” and “personal communication” data should be avoided, as their validity is uncertain.
They are typed the same way as the text (font and space) within the text stream. They are presented within the text and are numbered consecutively (1,2,3) in brackets. They must be accompanied by a concise, short caption. - Images can be black and white or coloured, in jpeg format and high resolution (> 150 dpi). If an image has been previously published, it must be accompanied by the publisher’s written permission to republish. In this case, the caption of the image should indicate its source.
For personal data protection, in case there are photos of people, their faces must either not be discernible or be accompanied by a written authorization enabling the use their photos without changes. - The submitted articles will be evaluated for publication by an Evaluation Committee and will be published if evaluation conditions apply and if the text itself has not been published or submitted for publication in another journal. Any work published may not be republished without the written consent of the authors. The authors of the articles published retain copyright over their articles. Articles published can be used without the right to modify (creation of derivative work) citing the author and the first publication for non-profit purposes (Creative Commons license 4.0). Authors should, if any, clearly state in the summary of the article the sources of funding for their work, citing details
- (e.g. national grants, scholarships, companies, non-profit institutions, etc.).
