The scientific journal “Regional Governance and Policy” is an initiative of the EETAA to promote public scientific dialogue, which will contribute to the discourse on the development of the institution of Local Government and regional and local development policies.

We aspire to be a meeting place for the academic community, policy makers and the world of Local Government, with the aim of promoting evidence based proposals.

Purpose

EETAA fosters a multidisciplinary approach – on a methodological and theoretical level – of all aspects of Local Government and its relationship to development, social inclusion and social well-being. Thus, it aims to provide Local Government, the Scientific Community, but also the general public, with scientifically-based knowledge, to analyse and expand new policies, trends, transformations and to contribute to the scientific debate that promotes local – regional development and integrates local – regional specificity.

The Journal will be produced twice a year and will publish, subject to peer review, original research work, scientific papers, reports of significant scientific developments and innovations, book reviews, case studies, etc.
